My Closet of..... CUPCAKES

Well I am truly sorry. I just read my last post and it sounded like I was writing a book report. That's what school does to me, as you can see. This post I will try to put more life into :).

To start off today was wonderful! I made some lovely designs, and some yummy chocolate cupcakes! I had made 24, but then my brother decided to have friends over and well, lets just say there are only 13 left. I m very proud of myself though for making them! The last time I baked something I took it out of the oven, and it was all black and burnt. Not the greatest cookies I've ever had, I'll tell you that much. xD

For New Years Eve one of my friends is coming over to celebrate with me. Not so much fun, but hay, until a few hours ago I was stuck with nothing. I wish I could dress up like all of you fashionistas, but its not the proper occasion. I want to wish all of you a Happy and Healthy New Years and to have lots of fun!

The last thing I want to say before I head off to bed, is that I will be skiing for the rest of the vacation after new years! I will try to get awesome picture of the snow and post lots while I'm there!

Happy Holidays!

My Closet of..... THIRTEEN

Last night I went to see the Broadway show "Thirteen". I was very surprised how good it was. The whole cast was kids, not one adult. Same with the Orchestra. It was really funny and I think anyone would enjoy it. The music is also great to listen to and their voices are so good. If I was reviewing it, I would give it 7 stars out of ten, because it was pretty short.

My Closet of..... My Winter Needs

BURTS BEES BEESWAX LIP BALMis basicallt the best stuff for your lips in the winter! I always use it, it last long, and it makes your lips tingle. Even though it is expensive for drugstore lipbalms, its worth it. The only thing I don't like about this porduct is that when you mush your lips together it doesn't slip like lipgloss, because there is no oil in it.

DIGITAL CAMERASare so important to have in the winter. They capture all of those fun moments in the snow, and tere is such great scenery everywhere, theat yu just have to take some snapshot on the winter!

SCARVESare so amazing for any season. Especially winter. They are so comfy and chic, and you can wear them with everything. Also, if you get cold in school, you can spread them out and use them as a blanket. They are one of my favorite winter accesories.

BANGLESmake my day on a yucky rainy morning in the winter. Everytime you movie they jingle, and they are so cute looking. I love how really big sized bangles layer on my wrist. I dont have much to say about them, but that you should definatly get a pair!

ITOUCHis the best gift I ever got. If your family is still holiday shopping, get one NOW! They are SO amazing. I might blab a bit much on this item. They have internet, photos, music, stocks, youtube, AMAZING games, notes, basically everything you want in one little IPod. My favorite part about it is the slide to unlock it. I know, dorky right? But its SO much fun. All of the graphics are so cool, and to make them all so much cooler, they are touch screen.

My Closet of..... VINTAGE SHOES

If the shoe fits.. wear it! So, after doing some holiday returns with my mom today we decided to stop by my grandmothers house! I am SO GLAD that we did because she was in the middle of getting rid of the heels she couldn't wear anymore. What a GREAT way to start the new year with some vintage heels! She had metallic silver pumps from when she was a teen, and the shoes in the picture above were from when she was in her 20's. They fit perfectly and I love them SO much. Happy holidays everyone!

My Closet of..... CHRISTMAS

Well, me being stupid and forgettable, I forgot to bring my camera to the city last night! First, we went to see Wicked on Broadway. It was me and my moms second time, but my brother and my dads first. It was a GREAT experience seeing it again. I love how clever it is that they made a prequel of the Wizard Of Oz. Anyway, after that my family walked around NYC, and looked at the windows of Lord and Taylor, and then Sacs. They were BEAUTIFUL! I loved all of the detailing, and how Sacs could take a story, and make it moving and real in their windows. After that, we visited the "famous" NYC Christmas tree. It was one of the best Christmas eve's ever and I'm not even Christian! :)

Happy Holidays!

My Closet of..... LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT?

Well, since Chanukah's is tomorrow, [I'm Jewish] I thought it would be a really
great idea to post some things on my Chanukah list :).

1. Minnetonka Women's High Top Zip Boots
In either black suede, dusty brown suede, or brown suede.

These ankle boots are SO cute. Every time I see them I want them so badly. I love how they are really original. In school people wear fringed boots every day. I really love the look but I want to bee original, not like every one else. So I searched online some boots that have fringes, but aren't as popular as the ones I see all the time They are also a good price at $44.95.

2. Bose SoundDock Portable Digital Music System
In white.

These speakers are a necessity for me these days now that my old speaker broke. The are perfect for me and my room. I have a fairly large room, so I really need good sound quality for my music, and the remote works perfect when I am on the other side of my room and I don't want to get up. With my old speakers, I have to wiggle the wire to get it to work, change the sound to match the sound on my ITouch, and to change the song I would have to get up and wiggle the wire until it worked again. Even though the are expensive at $472, they are worth it because of the sound quality. I also don't think I mentioned its portable, and works with DVD players.

3. Canon Digital Camera
In silver, black, or blue.

I have been meaning to get a new digital camera and I figured Chanukah would be the perfect time to do so! I currently have the Kodak EasyShare C300, which was one of the very fist digital cameras. Compared to most of my friends cameras, it now looks like a big bulky piece of metal with a tiny little screen and poor image quality. So, I am getting this camera in replace of my old one. I went to the store with my dad today to test it out, can the focus is really great. The camera itself is super small and easy to fit in your pocket. Its an okay price at $199.99.

Well, that's it, Happy holidays and a Happy New year to everyone! :)

Anyways, I am going to see Shrek on broadway tomorow, so I will post about it when I get back! :) I am wearing a really cute blue plad scarf that my friend just got me for secret snowman, a white shirt with a bunch of old TV show cartoons randomly printed on it, light pink leggings, some old black leather boots and possibley a jean vest. I have a HUMONGO science exam tomorow that I should be studying for, but instead I was doodling this. I dont even know what it is, its a new style of mine. Really skinny/tall demented models. I kind of like it :) Please tell me what you think... By the way, mostly everything on this blog was drawn by me.

My Closet of..... BELTS

Today I was in a little boutique around my town just browsing for random accessories, and I saw the CUTEST belt. Now, I am not a big fan of belts, and I only have two, a black thin leather one, and a Caramel colored leather coach belt, but this one I just HAD to get. It was so unlike any other belt I had ever seen. It was beaded and stretchy, and had all different designs on it. So I bought it, and now it is proudly hanging in my closet. I wonder what to wear it with.. well, we will just have to wait and see...

Byyeeeee!

Disclaimer: Everything in the drawing above was designed by me except for the belt. Please do not use any of it unless you ask permission first. Thank you.

My Closet of..... COLLECTIONS

I think its really cool to collect things. Its a really great way to express yourself. When I was younger I used to collect rubber balls. Now I collect pop-up stickers, books and antique jewelery. It may seem silly, but collecting things is so much fun. I think everyone should have a collection of something. You officially have a collection when you have 3 or more of something. So what are you waiting for? Start collectinggg!

My Closet of..... VINTAGE JEWELERY

Hey! Well, I was clearing out my big draw of jewelery from when I was a kid, and I found some amazing peices that I got from my grandma when she passed away from when she was a kid. The some is gorgeous. Its all turqouise or pearls, and classic things like that. There are also some really funky peices. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I will start to update more often.

My Closet of..... A DESIGN

This is just a quick design I drew before I go to bed =]. Its inspired by Halloween, a witch to be exact. It isn't a costume though, I just think it kind of looks like one, haha. Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I promise I will get more up and running! Criticism appreciated!!

My Closet of..... STYLES

Why is it when I start to like something specific, it becomes in style, and everyone starts to love it. For instance, during the summer I started to really like scarves. I had bought a few, and I have been wearing them alot. Now all of a sudden EVERYONE is wearing scarves! Now whenever I wear mine, I feel like I'm just copying everyone else!

Short post,
BYEBYE! :)

My Closet of..... PEACE

The hippies are taking over. I don't know about you, but I have been seeing WAYYY too much peace signs for my taste. I mean everywhere! Once I went to school, and there were 11 people wearing peace sign shirts! ELEVEN PEOPLE! Now every once and a while its nice to add some "peace" to your wardrobe, but to wear it everyday? NUH-UH. Even though I might not seem like it I sadly used to be a victim of "peace signs". Look above, this is only about 3/4 of my peace jewelery. So, if you are going to pull of the infamous peace sign, here are a few rules:

DONNOT
-wear a peace sign necklace, with a peace sign shirt. Too much.
-buy multiple peace signs to wear with different things. Like I did.

DO
-buy one small peace sign necklace and wear it everyday.
-wear a peace sign ring. They are super cute =]

Well, thats all for nowwwww.<3

PEACE OUTTT.

Get ready fo the Fall 2008 Collection! (Yes, I do like to dream) Here are some more designs, so enjoy and please give feedback! :)

My Closet of..... TESTING HAIR PRODUCTS

Today I was chatting with my mum about how my hair was so frizzy and about this product that my friend used called "Garnier Fructis Style Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray". Long name right? So anyway, I went out, and when she came to pick me up, she had three different products in her hands! I was so excited. So she told me to use one today, one tomorow, and one the next day. I should decide if they work, and tell her which ones I want.

Test #1 Augest 26th
Product: Garnier Fructis Style Brilliantine Shine Glistening Drops
This product worked but made my hair look a tad to greasy for my taste. It was also a little puffy, but not everything can work 100% right?

My Closet of..... MORNING ROUTINES

Good morning!

This morning I was just thinking about all of the people who get so stressed out over homework (ewww), cleaning, boy troubles, jobs, or anything else really. Or of the people who sit on their couch with a bag of potato chips watching reruns of "Hannah Montana" in their feetsy pajamas. And I really wanted to help these poor lonley souls, and so I put on my thinking cap, and found out a way to! So if you are:

A) Stressed out
B) A couch Potato
C) Just feel like reading a random girls blog

THAN LISTEN UP!

Because I can help you. I think. So I will give you a few easy steps to live a better and healthier life.

Step #1. Make your bed. I know its no fun but its really nice to walk into a clean room.

Step #2. Do 50 jumping jacks. It boosts up your enegry, loosens your muscles, and releases stress. And if you do it enough, you might even build some muscle! What can be bad about that?

Step #3. Take a shower. As gross as it may sound, you sweat and drool SO much in your sleep, and if you dont take a shower when you first wakeup, you will have dry sweat on you for the whole day. YUCK!

Step #4. Wash your face. As I said from before, you probably drooled on your cheek while you were sleeping. Enough said. Just do it.

Step #5. EAT BREAKFAST! Its the most important meal of the day. I don't care if you're on a diet or anything, just eat! I promise it will make you feel better.

And thats all for now! Well I hope this helps.

My Closet of..... DRESSING ROOM DISAISTERS

So today me and my friends and our moms took a stroll into a nice little store called "Forever 21". Since it would be very boring to hear me blab about everything I tried on, I will tell you about one perticular incedent. So I tried on a black pencil skirt which looked great on me. My mom went out to look for it in brown while I was unzipping it and outting on the next clothing article on the rack. I pulled the zipper down about an inch, but it wouldn't budge! I tugged and tugged, and the rest of the zipper broke open, but the zipper was still stuck at the top. So my mom the saleswomen, and me are all trying to get the skirt off of me while scary old women looked at us like we were nuts. The we tried to pull the skirt off over my head, and it wouldn't even fit over my chest. So the saleswomen finally told us to cut it. Luckly, my mom was carrying around a pocket knife, and while she was cutting, the scissors broke. MY LUCK. So then a few minutes later the saleswomen found a pair of scissors and we cut off the skirt. She didn't have a nametag either. That bothers me. And that was my great day of shopping! :)

LESSON LEARNED: Always carry around a pair of scissors in your purse.

BYEBYE.

My Closet of..... MORE DESIGNS

Ello folks. =] I went dress shopping today and got a few idea for designs so here is one:
The navy blue dots and lines are sequins. If thats imaginable. It would be a frilly bottem with a few lines of sequins mixed in and when it moves toward the body there are sequins scattered around and a droopy type neckline. A few more sequins at the neckline. Please comment! ^^

My Closet of.....LIPGLOSS

I LOVE lipgloss. specially when you put on so much, that your lips look slippery shiny, like water. My two favorites are NYC Liquid Lip Shine and CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers. NYC Lip shin is SO great. I have it in clear. Even though there is no color to it, I still love the look. Its so glossy and shiny. Usually I add a gold tint on the top of my lips and then use it as an overcoat. My second favorite is CG fruit spritzers. I had seen it in advertizing for a huge amount of time. Then my name brand struck cousin forced me to buy it for $7. Turns out, it was one of the best $7 I've ever spent! It really is everything it say it is. No stick, and a tint of color. I have it in watermelon. You can get it at any local drugstore I think.
GOOD BYE PAD THAI!

My Closet of..... LEMON JUICE

hello guys~ today I tried an experiment.I was looking online for was to make my hair lighter, but naturally, like with stuff from the earth, no products. So anyway, I found out lemon juice did the trick. My hair was medium brown. I followed these instructions:

1) Put lemon juice in a spray bottle 1/2 lemon juice 1/2 water. (the water helps the hair so the acid in the lemon isn't so harsh on your hair)
2) Spray evenly on hair, so you don't get random lighter spots.
3) Sit/sun bathe in the sun for an hour or two.You can also just spray it and leave it, but make sure you wash and condition it well at the end of the day.
4) When done, wash out your hair well. Condition it too, and let it sit in your hair for about 2-3 minutes. Rinse well.
5) DO NOT blow dry. If there is any acid from the lemon left, the constant heat of the blow dryer WILL dry it out.

I did blow dry after, for it helps the highlight show, and since my hair is very hydrated, It never really gets dry. Well, here are my results. I did the first two steps. I sat outside for about 2 hours with my magazines. It was very cloudy out, and I didn't see a difference, because the lemon juice dried in my hair and it turned dark brown, like when its wet. It felt like haves lemon smelling gel in my hair. Next I took a shower, using Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Than I deep conditioned and wrung out my hair. I blow dried it and it WORKED! Not as much as I wanted it to, for it was cloudy and I didn't have enough lemons. My hair turned a nice shade of lighter brown hair, with golden caramel highlights!

My Closet of..... PURFUMES

Hey guys. Today I was looking online for some nice smelling purfumes to buy. I already own Happy clinique and Ralph Lauren Rocks. I much perfer RLR because it smells so fresh and friuty, but has a tint of vanilla. HC really bothers me. It smells good one week, then the next it smells like moldy grass! I have not used that one for a while because of its sudden changes in smell. Also, how much purfume do you guys put on in the morning? I put two squirts on my left wrist, the rub it against my right. After I spray two spritz on my neck. I also wanna know some of your purfumes.

My Closet of..... BUTTON BRACELETS

Welcome to my closet of button braclets. ^^ This "trend" started in my sleep away camp. Everyone was making so much of them, that every two days we ran out of buttons, and we didn't order new ones in for about a week! It was like a button famine! Anyway, you had to get there fast on monday, and the arts and crafts place was PACKED. It was always hard to get the colorful ones, because everyone loved them. There were also some unique ones, with designs built into then, or cut out, or letters! Who knew people could be that excited to take some buttons and putem on a string, huh? Well, I think they are truly wonderful if you ask me. Those to the left are the only ones I could find, but I made 9 all together. There is a red, white, and pink one, a yellow, gold, and white one, a rainbow one, and a tannish-beige and red one. On the right is the yellow one on my arm. I just bought some buttons the other day, and I am hoping to make some more. ^^ If you are interested, you can ask me anytime how to make them, and I will be glad to help!
GOODBYE APPLEPIE.

My Closet of..... GREEN BAGS

Since the whole world is going green, I figured I might help a bit. Starting with..

*drumroll*

ORGANIC BAGS! They are cute, organic and TOTE-ally stylish. xD This one is by Roxy, but there are others if you don't like this perticular one. I have seen some funny ones like "I (recycle sign) Boyfriends." or plain ones, like "I heart Earth".
